Set of 12 George III Antique Silver shaped circular  Dinner Plates with applied gadrooned borders & each engraved with crest of Wallace with Simpson in pretence for James Wallace Esq MP for Horsham in 1770 – 1783 who married Elizabeth daughter & sole heiress of Thomas Simpson of Carleton Hall in Cumberland on 8th January 1767. The plates were all made in 1770 by Thomas Heming in London . Weight of Silver = 212 Troy ozs. Diameter of each plate = 24 cms. The plates are all in used but undamaged condition ready to grace dinner tables for generations to come.
