Description
Here we have a matching Pair of Antique Edward VII Hallmarked Silver mounted Claret Jugs made in 1908 by the well known makers James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield. The silverwork is plain & undecorated other than for fine detail to sides of handles, & could be engraved if so desired. The glass is decorated with plain panelling with star motifs
to undersides. The jugs are both in excellent condition ready for use. The overall height to the tip of the bulbous finials on each is 27 cms both having capacity to hold 75 cls or 1 standard bottle of wine per jug. The quoted price is for the pair of jugs.
