Here we have a George III Style Hallmarked Silver thread edge wine funnel made in 1976 by John B. Chatterley & Son made in Birmingham. The funnel has detachable spout to reveal muslin ring for securing the muslin or filter paper primarily for removing the sediment from vintage Port or for decanting the wine from the bottle into an elegant crystal wine decanter. The funnel measures 5 inches in total length & weighs in at 3.25 Troy ozs. The funnel is in undamaged clean condition ready for use.
