Here we have a Rare Antique Victorian Silver model of a Giraffe date circa 1880 made by the well known Silversmith & modeller Frederick Elkington & Company in Birmingham. The model displays fine tooling & modelling  associated with the firm of Elkington & was probably part of a larger centrepiece. The model has an overall height of 11 inches & weighs in at 15 Troy ozs.
