Description
Here we have a Fine Pair of Antique Victorian Silver Gilt Elizabethan Pattern Serving Spoons with attractive shell shaped bowls, made in 1850 by the celebrated London Spoon Maker George Adams. These spoons measure 10 inches in length & weigh in at a substantial 9 Troy ozs for the pair. The exquisite detail in these spoons is as crisp both back & front as the day they were made. The cartouche on the back of each spoon has been engraved with an ornamental cypher relating to the person whom these spoons were originally made. These would make a very fine & useful gift.
