A Novelty Antique Edward VII Hallmarked Silver gilt mounted plain crystal Dog Claret Jug complete with silver gilt mounted cork bung keeping any liquid contained within airtight, made in 1905 by Horace Woodward in Birmingham. The crystal body is perfectly plain almost depicting a Dachshund Dog with applied beaded girdle bands to both sides and vacant circular cartouche to front. The jug measures 26 cms in overall length x 19cms in maximum height with a capacity of approximately 75cls. This jug would make an ideal gift for any dog lover for serving wines, spirits or even mineral water & is ready for use.
